Roulette

Roulette, a European game a few hundred years old, is a fun and simple game that provides exciting action with its spinning wheel and bouncing white ball. Roulette offers a wide variety of bets.

The Roulette wheel has 38 different numbers -- Zero, Double Zero (both of which are green) and numbers 1 through 36 (half of which are colored red and the other half are colored black). Bets can be made on individual numbers, combinations of adjoining numbers; all Red numbers or all Black numbers; all Odd numbers or all Even numbers and other bets. The exact placement of a chip on the layout determines the specific bet being made.

Each player plays with a different color of chips, to distinguish their bets from other players bets; even if on the same individual number. The roulette chips are only good at the particular table being played and are not good anywhere else in the casino.

While best are being placed, the dealer spins the wheel and the ball in opposite directions. Bets may be placed until the dealer announces "no more bets" as the ball begins to drop. When the ball comes to rest, the Dealer places the marker and announces the winning number, takes the losing bets and winning bets are paid.
